The Feathers Hotel, a historic boutique hotel located in the heart of Woodstock, Oxfordshire, was acquired by Ede Holdings Ltd. The new ownership sought to revitalise the hotel’s brand to reflect its rich heritage while appealing to modern luxury travelers. Hook Digital was engaged to lead the comprehensive rebranding effort, including the development of a new website, creation of all content (imagery and video), and design of print collateral such as menus, wayfinding, and outdoor signage.

Hook Digital approached the rebranding project with a strategic and holistic methodology, ensuring that every touchpoint reflected The Feathers Hotel's new identity.

  1. Brand Strategy & Identity:
    • Hook Digital worked closely with Ede Holdings Ltd. to define the core values and brand personality of The Feathers Hotel. The result was a brand that elegantly blended the hotel’s historical significance with a fresh, luxurious feel.
    • A new logo was designed to encapsulate the hotel's elegance, featuring a modernised feather icon that nods to the hotel’s name and history.
  2. Website Development:
    • A fully responsive and visually stunning website was created, showcasing the hotel’s luxurious accommodations, exquisite dining options, and rich history. The website featured an intuitive user experience, making it easy for guests to explore the hotel, book rooms, and learn about local attractions.
    • Integrated a booking system to streamline reservations and enhance the user experience.
  3. Content Creation:
    • Hook Digital orchestrated professional photo and video shoots to create a library of high-quality content. The imagery highlighted the hotel’s unique architectural details, luxurious interiors, and the warm, inviting ambiance of the bar and restaurant.
    • Video content was produced to tell the story of The Feathers Hotel, capturing its charm and the guest experience from arrival to departure.
  4. Print Collateral:
    • Hook Digital designed a cohesive set of print materials, including menus, brochures, and wayfinding signs. Each piece was meticulously crafted to reflect the new brand identity, using a consistent colour palette, typography, and design elements.
    • Outdoor signage was also updated to attract and guide guests effectively, with an emphasis on visibility and brand alignment.
